Kevin Rife is a Freelance Tour Manager who has actively toured the world since 2009. Although he is currently a Tour Manager he has been on full tours and festival runs as a Guitar Tech, Merchandiser, Lighting Director and Production Assistant. He is a graduate of Millersville University with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Business Management and Music. Throughout college, he was Business Manager and DJ at WIXQ 91.7 FM and worked at major festivals such as CMJ in New York. After graduating, Kevin worked for Atlantic Records for 2 years based out of both Philadelphia and New York. Thanks to the opportunities Atlantic presented he attended hundreds of shows in which he gained experience in live music and show production. Thanks to that job and the contacts he made from it, Kevin was able to begin a career as a touring crew member. He has been able to tour with a wide array of acts such as The Rocket Summer, Every Time I Die, Matisyahu, Matt Nathanson, Phillip Phillps, The Jonas Brothers and currently Ingrid Michaelson. Throughout the past 7 years he has had the opportunity to tour with these musicians in places such as Hawaii, Guam, South America, Australia, Europe and the UK. Kevin currently lives in the Harrisburg area when he isn’t on the road. He also had a short local run as Production Manager at American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA to further understand the music industry as well as enjoy some much needed time with family and friends.
